Please suggest a dipping sauce for baked schnitzel

I will bake it without sauce and then would like something not mayonnaise. Thx

Put a large spoonful or so of jam (strawberry, apricot, raspberry - whichever) into a bowl. Add a small squirt of mustard and a small spoonful of teriyaki sauce. Mix well.

(we use this for shnitzel, eggrolls, wontons, etc...yum.)

I mix sweet chili in with the egg and the shnitzel is so moist and crunchy it doesn't need any dipping sauce.

Cook these ingredients together and then let simmer to thicken:

½ cup apricot preserves
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. white sugar
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
⅛ tsp. ginger powder
⅛ tsp. garlic powder
¼ cup water

Western sauce: Mayonnaise bbq sauce and ketchup

Bbq sauce mixed with teriyaki sauce.
Duck sauce with sauteed mushrooms and pepper.

½ cup ketchup

½ cup vinegar

¾ cup cold water

2 T. lemon juice

1 ½ cups sugar

½ c. brown sugar


Mix and bring to boil

Add 3 T corn starch dissolved in ½ cup water

Cook till thickens Pour hot sauce over cutlets
