I have a pre-seasoned, oven ready London Broil. My broiler isn't working! Can I make it like a brisket--cook for a long time in the oven on a low temp, maybe adding a bit of liquid?

I wouldn't, it will be tough. Why don't you sear it in a pan? (or sear and then bake)

Yup I do it all the time. Comes out soft. Add a little wine or liquid.

Set the oven to 525 and broil it that way. For a 1.75 lb London broil, you need about 20 minutes if you like medium at the center (if you like a lighter pink then max is 25 minutes).
