My daughter is Shayna
I spell it שיינא
Someone got her a necklace that says שיינע which I say is incorrect because that changes it from a noun to an adjective
The teacher wrote שינה and I corrected her by saying she beautiful, not sleeping beauty.
My son is Akiva.
The morah spelled his name with a hey at the end. I told her that we spell it with an aleph, which is the more common way of spelling it.
Rav Moshe has a teshuva on the name Akiva.
