Does anyone know what type of girls they ended up getting?
What camp do you think it compares to?

Solid Bais Yaakov, more out of towny. Not so many Lakewood/Brooklyn.

When I was a kid I went coming out of 3rd (camp tubby!) and I don’t think it was as unusual as it is nowadays | Tubby now starts coming out of 5th and for that age they only have a 2nd half option. When I was younger, my camp also had coming out of 3rd.

Bumping this up!
We are from “in-town”, but I’d like my daughter to have a more “diverse” summer experience

Lots of out of town, and even the in towners were more out of town type. Mostly not into brand names, the camp really emphasized simplicity and seems they really got the crowd they wanted in that respect.

Machaneinu has for that age. They’re a new camp for first half. Sounds very similar to what everyone describes below (bais yakov, out of town feels).

Does anyone know if levavi doesn't accept girls from Tom's river ? They didn't call any rescuers but they said we aren't the right fit any other places second half to apply ? I feel like there's so few options for second half

Camp Levavi has girls from Far Rockaway, Queens, Baltimore, and Brooklyn.. very few from Lakewood.. I know they have their hangup with lakewood/toms river girls... and they consider them to be "the problem" kids. I know a handful or more of girls went home last summer, some were homesick, others were miserable, but that may be expected from a new camp.. it definitely is for the out of town BAIS YAAKOV Camp. IN every sense of the word. The staff is great though and the campers that stayed, probably half are going back this summer.
