me too! everyone is saying get the maxicosi over the graco...but why?
incidentally, the ONLY thing I dont like is the bright colors. Also, seems kinda heavy to me. but everyone who has it, swears by it? anyone care to explain??

I have it, cuz it came with my quinny. I like the colour, but that wasnt so important to me. Its easy to strap into the car, and apparently is very safe, but it is very heavy. Its what fit with my carriage, and its safe, so I'm ok with it, but I hardly ever walk anywhere with just the carseat and baby - it must be on the frame.

youngmommy could you tell us about your quinny. I've been drooling over that stroller since it came out.

The base of the Maxi-Cosi is heavy, but your not carrying that around, the actual car-seat I dont find heavy.
The Maxi-Cosi in my opinion is alot more comfortable for the baby then the Graco and the
infant insert is great.
I do find it is a little harder to buckle the baby in, but I've only had it for a few days so I'm still figuring it out, its getting easier.
I have it in Tan Tech which isn't bright and there is also a black/gray color Penguin.

babies r us has it in a neutral color - with light orange in it somewhere - for those who dont like bright colors. ps - they also have footmuffs, but only have seen them online. they sell them on buybuybaby.com

I have no opinion on the carseat but I jsut wanted to say, livalittle I love reading ur posts/questions regarding baby stuff. It seriously makes me smile...stay well!!!
