Parchment paper on top of chicken?
What a great idea.
Do you keep it covered the whole time ?

I just tried this the first time. The chicken/spices began burning but I wanted to cook it a little longer and then I realized I should just put parchment on top right away.

It would be great if people could include details like whether they use spray oil or parchment or nothing, covered or uncovered, how long.
Also, where do you get the round precut parchment paper that fits the Betty Crocker?

What's the advantage of cooking in Betty crocker versus the oven when at home? I understand it comes in handy when travelling.

It shouldn’t smoke. It does release steam and that’s normal

I haven't used a Betty so I don't know about babysitting it, etc. as the next post after yours mentioned.
But for people with only one oven, it gives more options. And before yom tov (not just Pesach but especially then) other small appliances can be useful: I can bake challos, kugels, etc. in the oven and make roasts, franks in blanks, and more in my fleishig crockpot and turkey roaster. The Betty C. does seem interesting.
