Basically I know that I will be spending some good money soon (winter stuff, black friday, chanuka) and feel that now is the time I can get a new credit card to get the bonus.
There are two cards with expiring extra bonuses and I wanted to know if anyone had any input on which would be better to get. Citi double cash and jetblue plus

Citi double cash

2% on all purchases

200 dollars signup bonus (never had before)

Jetblue plus

99$ annual fee

6 points on jetblue 2 points dining 1 point everything else

1rst checked bag free on jetblue flights

80,000 bonus points (used to be 60,000) worth 800 dollars

5000 annual bonus points

we are not big spenders but when we travel we usually use jetblue

Which card should I get ?

Honestly, while the Citi Double Cash card is pretty good for everyday spending (2% cash back across the board), the $200 sign-up bonus is pretty small compared to other sign-up bonuses. And while 80,000 Jetblue points is definitely valuable, you should be able to find even better sign-up bonus offers.

I usually check here before applying for new cards to see the best offers and what they're worth:

Thanks but the other cards with signup bonuses have higher fees. no ?

We don't spend that much (like a rich man I mean) although we all have expenses..
