He’s seven years old and I need to get all new almost everything. He has a bed. He needs furniture to hold his clothing. He has something for books but I would be open to something else. He has a container for all his costumes but I would open to something else. He needs something for his CD player, DVD player, Nintendo switch, camera, cds, dvds, and Nintendo switch games. He needs someplace for his shoes and boots. He needs something for all his little prizes, he has two containers of prizes.
He needs something for all his stuffed animals . I will attach pictures so you get an idea of what it looks like now. I’m open to a cute rug, accessories , or whatever.
If anyone would be able to help I would be so grateful !

Desk with a hutch/shelves for books and electronics? will also have drawers for prizes
also a dresser for clothing.
Ikea will have adorable options, and cute rugs and accessories too

I’d rather not spend the money. They are a fortune. I’m hoping you wonderful ladies will be the decorators 😀

What about something like this, with added shelving for his books on top of the toy box/stuffed animal box/bench?
Upper is hanging clothes, a wire basket and several shelves for folded clothes – and then drawers for socks and underwear.
I think there's a ledge to reach the wardrobe.

Swipe to the 2nd picture to see what it looks like in action.

I would do a neutral rug as the linen is busy and put some of these around for fun

I would stick to all white furniture and bring in colored accents later, according to your taste.

Options for the clothes:
https://www.wayfair.com/furnit......html
https://www.wayfair.com/furnit......html
https://www.wayfair.com/furnit......html
https://www.wayfair.com/furnit......html

For his books and toys:
https://www.target.com/p/11-34.....16810
Use some shelves for books. The other shelves for cubes. Use the cubes for stuffed animals and prizes.

Containers for animals, prizes, costumes... (these are some ideas... there are many other options on amazon. Buy according to your taste)
https://www.amazon.com/ECEGEVA.....ss_tl
https://www.amazon.com/Wisdom-.....ss_tl

More options for books: (and use cube containers and shelves for all toys, games, etc.)
https://www.wayfair.com/Latitu......html
https://www.wayfair.com/George......html

https://www.amazon.com/KidKraf.....ss_tl

Shoes/ boots options:
https://www.amazon.com/Eiiel-S.....ss_tl
https://www.amazon.com/Whitmor.....ss_tl
https://www.amazon.com/ClosetM.....ss_tl

decorate according to your style afterward. It will look sharp if all furniture is white. I'll post ideas.

First go thorough what you have and try to discard whatever he doesn’t need. Go through it together so he doesn’t feel that your throwing out his stuff behind your back. Next make shelving in the closet with drawers. Check out the elfa closets from the container stores. Then get pretty linen and a nice bed. Buy a light fixture and a night table with a lamp. You will have a beautiful, spacious tidy room. You can add in the corner a small rocking chair to cozy up and read. ( you can find these chairs in homegoods) Enjoy!

The corner at the foot of the bed, where the books are would be a great spot for a corner desk for all the electronics and books.
Or the bed should be more centered on that was, put a thin bookcase before the bed against the wall, and a dresser across the bed centered on the other wall.

I like IKEA wardrobes. We happen to have also recently gotten this toy chest which is also a bench that you might be able to use.

Another thing I saw at IKEA were these storage items with boxes.

Just also sharing that I have ADHD and find the book "Organizational Solutions for People with ADHD" to be very helpful, and I think it would be for anyone, not only for people with ADHD. She divides chapters by rooms so you can go directly to a specific area to decide how to structure it.
