Is it a competitive school to get into?

I believe so.

They also don't like to take younger candidates. They give them a hard time with the interview process.

I know a msw who teaches social work in Sara Schnirer. She is also a great therapist.

I'm looking into this too. Anyone on here did the program that can give info about it? Did you feel like the education and training was good? How was the workload?

As far as I've heard, they are a very good program. I got the feeling that it might be a bit harder work, but worth it. I wonder about their acceptance rate, for I did not get accepted... Has anyone had this experience with them?

Didn't decide on anything yet. I would like to hear more about other options. Most programs start in September, so I still have time to check them out. I might try my luck with reapplying to Sara Schenirer again.

Did you know why you weren’t accepted? All I heard was they don’t like taking younger…

They didn't say why. What age does younger mean?

I have the same question Smile
I don’t know all the programs and why you want Ss could be worth trying again

I know that social work has a lot of hashkafah questions... I want a frum program, and I trust Sara Schenirer with that. I know there are other frum programs, but I understand that SS is best in the quality of training.

If they don't take me, I'll go someplace else; I am just curious if it's a standard to not be accepted by them or if it was just me...

I haven't done the program or applied, but I did look into it. I know they don't like to take young just out of sem and did their ba in a year type. They for sure would only take you that young if you did a "real" ba that required real classes, not the tti type. I think once you are in your 30s you aren't considered young by them for their purposes anymore.

It could be that's my reason. I did a quick BA, and I'm not yet 30. So I should wait for my 30th birthday?

Do you have any more info to share on their program in general? Is it worth to try them again, over other programs?

Do you know any reason for not accepting? Or it's just if classes get full?
