Many Chareidi families have it on display in the living room behind glass doors.
If you don't have space or don't like to polish its totally OK to have it packed away.
You do as you like and that's fine Smile

Ikea has some as Im sure Home Center and Ace. It also depends where he lives. I would assume any city has such stores that sell home furnishings.

I live in Yerushalayim and I find they tarnish very quickly. I wrap them in plastic wrap during the week and they stay perfect.
