Thanks everyone, seems like you lean towards no... I guess same is true even if I have a 4 month old baby- don't vaccinate her...

I used to give it every year and my kids still got the flu. After the covid vaccine saga I won't be giving it to my kids again. My eyes have been opened to the truth about certain vaccines.

Every story about a child who died from flu was a child who did not get the flu shot.

I was actually wondering about this

I don’t know data but in Lakewood where I live all the scary cases were people who were not vaccinated

Sure. Just like everyone who dies from covid was and is unvaccinated.

Here’s a source but it’s from the cdc so not sure what’s that worth.
It says approx 80% of flu related deaths among children were among unvaccinated children.
https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/faq.htm

Are you sure they even give the flu vaccine so young? I remember my pediatrician yelling me to wait till 6 months. Maybe things changed.

This has nothing to do with Covid. You do you.
All I know is that locally, whenever a child dies from the flue, they were unvaccinated.

I don’t trust the cdc. And I don’t have a source. But I do know that when I read about deaths in my community and every single time they were unvaccinated, to me that means vaccinating is a form of hishtadlus.

It’s still 6 months afaik. But op you should get it for yourself. There are many anti Vaxxers on this site. That doesn’t mean they’re correct.

I never get the flu shot. My dh who has to get it for work, he gets the flu every single year! Sometimes twice, strain a and strain b. I think in the past 15 years I got it once! I do give it to my school age kids because NYC requires it..

Time and again it's the ppl who get the flu shot who get sick each year and magically the year they decide they had enough and don't get the shot, presto, everythings fine.

That's besides all the toxins you're putting into yourself, for what?

That’s what happened with me and my kids always got the glue shot and they were sick the year of Covid 2020 I was really not interested in taking it after seeing about the Covid vaccine and my daughter tells me after the winter ma no one got sick this year there went the flu shot never again

If you want to expose yourself and your family to toxins for a vaccine that is maybe 30% effective in the best years.

At this point, everyone should realize pharmaceutical industry is not to be trusted.

So don't take ant unnecessary pharmaceuticals,
Including vaccines.

Per Torah, if there is controversy

"Shev, v'al taasseh" do nothing.

Vitamin D & C prevent cold and flu. Also a multivitamin.

Get a nebulizer.

Get Saline nasal spray.

Get enough sleep

Be well.

Anedoctal- my unvaccinated baby got the flu. The rest of us who are vaccinated (including pregnant me who shared a water bottle with baby) did not.

Anyway, preschool and daycare require it legally.

I got the flu shot during every pregnancy. Only past 1st trimester. Everything was fine. Didn't get the flu.Once during pregnancy I got a different virus. Not flu. (before covid). I had no symptoms. Husband and kids all had symptoms. I had none. The fetus died. Week 34. I later found out that viruses like the flu cause stillbirths. Now I make sure everyone in my family gets the flu shot when I'm pregnant. When I'm not pregnant I still get it and try to get for all the kids but if some of them don't I'm fine with it.
