Heat a cup with water in it. The steam will loosen the dirt, so you can wipe it off.

Dish soap and water in a cup. Microwave until the cup is empty. Then wipe everything down, should be easy.

How long should I heat the cup up for? Wont the plastic melt by the time all the water evaporates?

Add baking soda or vinegar to the water and microwave the bowl for three to five minutes - 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup vinegar or baking soda and water
The process is simple. First, pour water and a fair amount of baking soda into a microwave-safe bowl, and mix thoroughly. Place the bowl into the dirty microwave and let it run for five minutes on high power. When it's done, carefully remove the hot bowl, and wipe down the microwave interior with a damp cloth. The hardened, caked-on mess should wipe away quickly and easily. If it does not, repeat the process for another five minutes.
This is more effective than just plain water
In the future use a spatter screen if you are heating something that isn't covered. I also have a silicone mat on the microwave bottom if something spills.

Microwave some vinegar. Not too long. The microwave will smell but the splatters will come off much more easily.
