Ds wants an apple watch for Chanuka,he said because it's the best fitness watch. I'm afraid that he's going to constantly be busy with checking all the notifications on his wrist! It's bad enough that he's constantly pulling his phone out of pocket! Are there any really good fitness trackers that are just that-fitness trackers?

I don't think fitbit inspire 2 has texting. My kids have it and it's synced to their tablets.

If he's seriously into fitness get a Garmin watch. Those are the best for fitness and have no games at all.
It does have texting notifications but you can turn it off.

Sounds good, but so frustrating that all the good sports watches seem to have text notifications. If I shut off notifications,knowing my son, there would be arguments every day!
