Advice for how to prevent an ear infection??

My baby is 9mo kah and has gotten ear infections every time he’s been teething. He is in playgroup so he’s getting exposed to everybody’s germs also. Is there any way we can prevent him from getting sick? We give him probiotics with vitamin D, and elderberry syrup formulated for babies. No sugar or sugary drinks.TIA!

Multivitamin

Rub garlic oil behind ears on regular basis, and drop garlic oil in ears if there is a cold.

Baby get enough sleep.

Get off milk and diary. It really helped my kids ears and respiratory problems bh

to add - avoid getting water in the ears.

I’ve had my oldest with ear infection a lot as a baby/toddle, I started smearing oil of oregano behind the ears every night since then she has not have one ear infection, I do this with my 2nd as well, now their older I do it like every few weeks or sometimes days
Bh it really helps

After an ear infection go back to the doctor to check all the fluids are gone.

Don’t let him drink a bottle or nurse lying down flat.

When congested, massage around ears to help drain fluids.

Essential oils like panaway, Mel rose, lavender works really well for my kids some of them I had to take off foods like diary and wheat. I make sure to nurse them in an upright position

Check for tongue tie/restriction. The tongue is like a pump for the eustachian tubes.

Make sure he dosn't drink bottles in bed. He has to be in a chair so he isn't flat on his back.

Saline nebulizer when have cold.

Don't have to strap mask on, just point at babies mouth.
