I bought a pair of lightly used boots on ebay. I opened the package and got the most horrific stench of cigarette smoke. I gagged and stuffed them back in the bag.

What do I do now? Are they salvageable? I don't think I can return them.

You can try putting through a complaint to the seller and they might refund you
