Any tips/tricks to keep the bowl from getting rusty? Are some cleaners better than others? Also, if you have a favorite brush, or any other favorites, please share. Thank you!

By rust do you mean pink rings? I find that my guest room bathroom gets them when not used regularly. And basement gets pink much quicker. I use the toilet bowl cleaner weekly and don't usually have an issue

Soft scrub in bowl with a good scrub.
Mr. Clean wash for seat and bathroom floor etc.

Clorox wipes are for small spills/sparys. You need a good washup with a pail and rag at least once a week.

If you have little ones using it, you'll probably need to clean more often.

We have hard water so I buy the Lysol lime and rust (black label) when they have it. Otherwise I just use other Lysol ones. I clean my toilets every week and that seems to prevent issues. If you have rust you need to let it sit a while and maybe use a pumice stone for hard water rings. Once it's clean you can just maintain. Also I like the Ikea brushes because they're black so they don't look icky after a while (I do clean them, but they get stains from the hard water).
