Dh and I haven't been to israel in a decade. We are considering going next chanukah. Traveling from ny.
Is chanukah an expensive time to travel there? Is it possible to get tickets under 1,000? What's my cheapest option

The earlier you book a ticket the better price you are likely to get. Even now might not be too early. My parents used sit down every Chol haMoed to book their tickets for the next year.

If you mean this comming chanukka you re a bit late for bargains as the end of chanukka coincides with the xians holiday. And therefore a lot of pple are able to come so its high season. Sometimes you can get really cheap tickets on the 25 th but I think its shabbes.and sometimes the tickets a year ahead are more exoensive than a couple of weeks be4

The cheapest time of year is always feb, and liek the last poster said Elal always runs a Black Friday sales.

I saw an ad of elal 798 in mid October and we booked it for December my husband decided for this price he is taking my kids along we have a family wedding I actually just saw the same special for black Friday
