Chitlins (google it if you don’t know what it is)
I recently went to Buenos Aires Argentina and ate them, grilled on the bbq.
They were delicious
Soft, mild liver taste. Delicious with a little lemon to cut the richness
I enjoyed them so much that I was wonder

Does anyone in theUS sell kosher chitlins

I googled because I had no clue. Apparently it IS a pig product, but can be made from other things as well (lamb, beef, etc)

Chitlins (or chitterlings, if you're fancy) are cooked pig intestines. While the vast majority of chitlins are pork, sometimes intestines from other animals (particularly cows) are used. They're typically boiled, fried, or stuffed with mincemeat and served as just one part of a larger meal

thats what google gaev me

Well kishke is just stuffed and not fried. And all sausages and franks used to use intestines to stuff the meat until modern technology.

People eat fried pig skin - chicharrones.

My Bubbe used to make gribbenes when she rendered chicken fat and they were so delicious.

Op here
Small intestines from beef
I ate it at aKOSHER Argentinian steakhouse in Buenos Aires
BTW- all of the meat in Argentina is Bet Yosef
Just a fun fact I didn’t know
The hashgacha only allows BY - and since a high percentage of the beef is BY it’s not really a problem
I wanted to know if any butcher sells it here in the US

In Buenos Aires it is served grilled on skewers and it comes to the table on a small grill heated with real coals

No it tastes like very mild chicken liver
Very rich and velvety tasting
Not chewy like gizzards

It’s called chinchulines de res

Yes, it’s called chinchulin and I don’t like it. The texture is so gross! Did you also have moyeja? My husband always makes those when he makes a barbecue. I don’t like either. Entraña is the best on the grill. My kids look forward to both chinchulin and moyeja.
