Same. There was a price limit which meant it had to be short and only a processed shaitel. I paid double that to get 16 inches.

It was a long time ago, but I do remember there was chicken, a case of gefilte fish, ice cream frozen veggies. There was more, but thats all I can think of now. The freezer I gave to my ds for his family. I kept the food Wink

Having bh won quite a few prizes at quite a few auctions. I've learned that the best prizes to win are simply gift cards. Not anything to do with vendors.

Example: all inclusive vacation (like a resort or kosher cruise) - limitations on dates, trips, what it includes, amount of people etc. Have to pay on top.

Jewelry: possibly limited to specific items. (Actually I had a wonderful experience where they treated me so well even though I told them upfront I am not paying cash)

Stores like furniture or services like wigs: may have fine print - especially wigs

That amazing "win groceries for a whole year" - had to badger the org to keep refilling the monthly amount they had promised

I know it sounds spoiled. But on the other side, it's not all glamorous. Amazon gift card is the way to go.

We won tupperware.... Turned out to be just a few random pieces but actually convenient sizes, still use many years later.

We won $1000 to a grocery store. That was great. Actually not one we shop at regularly but we liked their potato kugel and ate it for ages.

I've put in for computers, trip to Israel, money to restaurant/pizza stores.
