Isn't everyone always looking for that? Would love some kind of easy cookie or bar or something presentable enough to give a neighbor for a kiddush. I know choc chip cookies work, but would prefer more special/impressive. TIA!

Make a vanilla loaf cake, drizzle with vanilla glaze, and sprinkle with Oreo crumbs. Looks fancy, takes no effort.

What a lovely idea, thank you! Would you give it to them in the pan or in slices on a platter?

Put it on a platter but don't slice. It looks more impressive before you slice it.

I know you said cookie, bar, or cake, but mousse cups are super easy and super fancy
And you can make any flavour you want

You can also make it into an icecream pie just as easily, but mousse cups make for a prettier presentation

Basically the mousse is rich whip and vanilla pudding whipped up and placed in a zip lock bag for easy piping into cups

Cookies&Cream
Crush Oreos

Reserve 1/4 of mousse in a different baggie for the top

Place some chocolate chips in a zip lock baggie and melt by putting the sealed bag in a mug of hot water

Mix some Oreos in the mouse

Layer cups
Crushed Cookies
Cookie mouse
Crushed cookie
White mouse
Crushed cookies
Drizzle of chocolate
A whole Oreo on top

For lotus use lotus cookies and lotus cream in the mousse

For tiramisu
Use vanilla whip plain
Break up lady fingers or vanilla tea biscuits to fit in the cup
Make some strong coffee and put in a tiny bit so that the lady fingers soak it up, but not too much
Layer whip
Then cocoa powders
Then lady fingers
Whip
Decorate with cocoa powder a drizzle of melted chocolate and if you have chocolate covered coffee beans

Strawberry shortcake - when strawberries are in season
Take a few strawberries and blend well in a blender
Taste and sweeten if needed
Mix this into some of the mouse but leave some mousse plain
Slice some strawberries
Keep some whole to decorate
Layer vanilla crushed cookies
Strawberry whip
Strawberry slices
Vanilla crushed cookies
Vanilla whip
Decorate with a little bit of the blended strawberry and a whole strawberry

The flavours are endless

If you want to make it into a pie
Make the flavored mousse
Pour into a prepared pie shell
And decorate accordingly

Rainbow cookies are delicious and a show stopper. They are easy to make except that you divide the dough into three - add food color and cook the layers separately and then put them together for the three colors.

How do you easily transport and deliver mousse cups? Especially if someone other than you will be dropping them off?

I once made easy brownies and choc chip squares (the 9x13 recipe) then cut I ti squares and placed in a platter in a checkerboard pattern. It looked very pretty
I also once saw an idea of a platter of brownie squares and each row had its own color topping- a dot of red icing with a slice of strawberry, a dot of yellow icing with a sliver of candided lemon, a dot of brown icing with a chocolate leaf, etc. It looked beautiful

Anything made mini is automatically fancier. Mini cupcakes with chocolate icing and then drizzled white icing for example.
Prebought mini pie crusts filled with store bought chocolate chip dough or pie filling or custard.....
Cherry turnovers - mini pastry squares, cherry pie filling, icing drizzled on top.
A bit more of patchke but if there's no nut allergies overtime cook.com has a stuffed Oreo recipe thats pretty easy, different, and fancy

Cinnamon twists (aka French twists) sprinkled with powdered sugar

Peanut butter Rice Krispie treats with chocolate on top- only if you know there are no allergies, probably wouldn’t send to a Kiddush
