Sounds crazy but after combing through internet and imamother I cannot find a tried and true easy fast and yummy recipe for basic pizza in the betty crocker pizza maker. Anyone have one they can share? Nothing fancy but I do need clear instructions regarding time to rise and time to bake. Thank you in advance.

I don’t think your recipe needs to be different for a Betty Crocker . Any pizza should do.
I make this crust .
https://www.allrecipes.com/rec.....rust/
Use store bought pizza sauce
Add whatever toppings you like :
Plain cheese : mix of pizza cheese and shredded mozzarella
Olives, peppers, mushrooms , broccoli…I make multiple pizzas with various toppings , just top the toppings with shredded cheese
Put into the Betty Crocker until cheese is bubbling nicely (about 10 minutes)

I buy ready made dough - package comes with about enough for 2 full pizzas - roll it out until it fits pizza maker, add any ready made pizza / pasta sauce, add shredded cheese.
Takes about 10-15 mins, depending how big / thick you make it.

I’ve made this in the Betty Crocker a few times. It’s a yummy fluffy dough and it doesn’t need to rise. Super easy too.
No rise pizza dough recipe:
Ingredients
2-1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup warm water
2-1/2 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
Dissolve yeast and sugar in water and let stand for 10 minutes, until creamy. Add rest of ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
Note: regular flour can be used in place of bread flour

Thank you for all the posters. Do you bake dough first or just do dough and sauce and cheese? Also dumb question but do you do sauce or cheese first?
If you make the dough do you let the dough rise at all?

I use a different dough recipe, but I do bake the dough on its own for a few minutes. I find it to be raw otherwise. First sauce, then cheese and toppings.

The ami whisk had an amazing easy recipe perfect for the Betty crocker.
2 1/2 c. Flour
1 c. Milk
3 T oil
1 T baking powder
You can mix it in a bag tied with a knot.
Divide in half and flatten with oiled hands on the Betty crocker.
Add topping and bake 7-9 minutes
Extremely easy mess free and delicious

I make a dough from
1 1/3 C white spelt flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
Mix it well roll out and bake in Betty Crocker for 10-15 min then add sauce and cheese.
It’s not super fluffy but it’s def high in protein and my kids love it!

I made it as the recipe said and it was yummy.
It’s not the same like a store pizza- it’s very homemade tasting but it’s yum.

Fleishmann's pizza yeast has a perfect no-rise recipe on the back of the packets and it works beautifully in the betty crocker pizza maker. You can use any rapid rise yeast with that recipe obviously (and I do).

I found that it depends on the dough. If it's a thicker crust it needs to be parbaked, thinner crust will get too crusty before the cheese melts, you need to find what works for you.
Most ppl probably do sauce first but there are no rules with pizza
