But there's a story to it. Basically a SYAS Shadchana was visiting someone in my hometown, and was introduced to my father. When my father heard that this visitor was a Shadchana on SYAS (which is a sister site to YUCONNECTS which I was on) he said "oh let me tell you about my daughter..." Said Shadchana went to her databases and thought okay here's a Southern guy he might work for this Southern girl. And BH it worked.
Why DH and I were on said sites is a different story, we veer towards the Yeshivish side but are out of the box. DHs friend convinced him to join SYAS. |

My husband called a shadchan, he said just call NM she doesnt mind
I told him numerous times not to do that, but he didnt listen
I wanted to hang up but the guy sounded interesting, so hours and hours of pcalls and months of dating, fast forward 30 years and here we are
