When you use these covers the one that protect the whole part, do you still put baby in a snowsuit? Don’t know if I’m over dressing my baby by using one? Or should I just use a pramsuit and blanket?

No, baby does not go in a snowsuit or a coat when using a car seat, you can use another blanket underneath but nothing under the straps.
