I’m genuinely curious how there are so many people at the event that will be on Sunday 3-5. Don’t they need to be home for lighting around 5? How does that work ? I would love to take my kids but we would get back to Lakewood so late.

I’m guessing most people people either live closer by or they’ll light later.
Or leave early.

It’s a lakewood thing to light by shkiah, I think. Some people light at 9pm or whenever

None of the clothing stores etc are EVER open on Sundays. Presumably some of the attractions and food stores will be open but I have no details on which ones.

Toys r us is open they have cholov yisroel ice cream and a train ride

According to their website, they have extended hours today from 12-6
* The extended hours on December 25th apply to the following attractions - DreamWorks Water Park, Nickelodeon Universe, The Rink, TiLt Museum, Mirror Maze, Angry Birds Mini Golf, Blacklight Mini Golf, Geoffrey's Express and Legends of the Hidden Temple Ropes Course Challenge.

Parking at American Dream is free for the first hour, $5 flat rate for more than 1 hour. It can be higher for special events, but I think that's only when there's a football game at MetLife, not just for a small Chanuka program.
