What happened, did someone use your credit card fraudulently, or did you count the cups in a bag that says 100 and found only 99?

Why do you need a lawyer and who are you suing?
It is a police matter if someone used your card fraudulently as it is theft?
If the card was used fraudulently, report the charges to your credit card company. I just had someone charge a Dominos pizza and attempt to charge an UBER ride and the credit card company took off the charges and issued me a new card - no need for an attorney.
