I know it's early but I could use some distraction from real life..!!

We have 2 little kids kah. Almost upshernish boy, girl will be almost 1 Purim time. I would love a cute family theme that actually has some shaychus to the ages of the family/Purim/what my kids are into (I'll post below). My husband will at most wear a coordinating tie & hat so nothing that needs major male involvement😝

We are Chabad so no non kosher animals or non Jewish themes please:) just something cute and neutral and not too expensive to put together!

My kids love: fruits (I was thinking berries because I found a cute costume on Amazon for my daughter? But not sure if it's enough), all cars/trucks/school buses like most toddler boys Wink and music. Just for ideas, doesn't have to link to any of those.

Thanks in advance for any ideas:) bonus if you have coordinating shalach manos ideas too! Yeah I go all out, once a year:)

We're doing a NASA theme. DH will be mission control (just got him a wired headset), I'm wearing a long sleeve NASA t-shirt, and my almost 2 year old daughter and 2 month old son will be in astronaut costumes (Amazon).
I don't do themed mishloach manot, though, we do loaf pan potato kugels and grape juice.

That's so creative and I love the mission control idea!! Doesn't speak to me for us right now but I'll keep it in mind, thank you.

Does your son like firemen? Or policemen?
He can be whichever one, you can also, and dh can wear the right hat (or go with a previous posters idea and use a headset- he can be the dispatcher!) Dd can be a Dalmatian!

Those are both really cute! But we don't do non kosher animals, we're Chabad.

He loves the fire trucks and police cars more than the actual people Very Happy toddlers!

One year I found an actual fire truck costume at carters. It was the cutest thing

Edit if you’re in Brooklyn you can have ours

I found one without too much effort actually - might be a little too bulky for my son. But it's definitely an idea.

It's a bit bulky, but they're adorable!
I loved it, because I was able to take it off for the meal/naps etc.

That does sound good, I'm just wondering if my son will agree to wear it at all! And how we'll make it down the street...

Anyone have ideas for how to make this a family costume? Dalmatians are out.

Edit: any other vehicle is fine too if that helps. I just searched and found the same idea for a dump truck, police car and school bus.

Oh I love all of these!! What could the baby be if we do something like builders or race cars? She's a girly little girl...not that she cares lol 😆 so it's ok if it's not that girly.
