Did you use someone that did a good job and wasn't expensive? How many megapixels each camera. What type of camera is good to get. What should we know about this?

Does he install nest or ring cameras? Or some other type?

I got an estimate of around $4000 to install cameras (hard wired into the electrical system) around my house and would like a more affordable option.

Arlo has wireless kit for $400 , come with 3 eyes, you can add more, can be monitored from any computer or smartphone.

Didn't use but someone I know does this. I've seen cameras that he installed and those others did. Video quality is not to compare. His are really clear.
I think his pricing is good for quality provided - though I'm obviously biased Laugh
