It's being rationed because of Kendamil is off the market. Ask your local grocery when they're getting in more and if they can put a can or two aside for you.

I know in many stores in Lakewood they are only giving it to people who order it in advance.
Maybe it's like that in Brooklyn?

What do you.mean by pre order it? I did a grocery order at einhorns and I didn't receive it, is there another kind of ordering? At bingo it wasn't on the shelf and I asked and they said they don't have it. Thanks so so much for helping me out. Good shabbos:)

Ask Einhorn's when more is coming in and if they can put away for you.
Each store is getting a limited amount of cases so all areas are covered.

Which stores? I haven’t been able to get it anywhere in Lakewood. The ones I asked said I couldn’t order it

My sister-in-law orders from the Kollel food store
Maybe you have to be a good customer for them to keep it for you
Kosher West had the 2once bottles on the shelf today, probably not going to help you

I don't think it's on the store shelves anywhere, you have to ask in the front for them to either put aside for you or give it to you from under the counter.

Some stores keep it "in the back" for their steady customers. You have to ask the manager for it.

If your baby can only drink the similac and throws up the materna, and you can't get any other brand of cy formula, it's time to ask a Shelia about getting non-cy similac formula for your baby.

You are right it is not normal that there is a shortage on baby formula.
Last year there was a shortage on regular baby formula, there is still a supply problem. It started when the government shut down a plant(there are many conspiracy theory why and why it was closed for so long).
A few months ago it hit the CY formula hard, Why? I think it's because many of them are imported.
Such as Kedmill, Materna, many of the Similac cy is from Isreal
I heard it is harder to import formula now I don't know why.
I have not seen any Sunrise in a while has anyone? Did they stop making it?

Oy! Please ask in every grocery at the front, I hope you will find. B"H in the fourth grocery I asked in BP I ended up getting it. The other three groceries didn't have that day, or at all, said I could come back, etc., Please keep looking hatzlacha to you and your sweet baby
