We live in the US but plan to god-willing make Bar Mitzvah in Israel this June.
We had are looking for a beautiful, meaningful and spiritual experience, but not too extravagant.
If anyone has done this and is willing to share some pointers regarding the actual celebration at the kotel or itenirary ideas (places to visit while there), I would be so grateful.
We are traveling with my parents and in laws, 15 yr old son, 13 yr old son, and 5 yr old daughter and will be in Israel for aprox. 12 days.
