Why do people text KK instead of just K?
It makes you sound like you are impatient and disinterested in the conversation we are having.
I hate when people text it to me - makes me feel like I was being annoying and they want to rid themselves of me.

I also think it's a weird response but I think it's usually when you are telling someone two things so they're responding K in double to show a response to both...
personally I wouldn't text KK....

K - rude
Kk- even more rude

How hard is it to write “okay, sure” or just “sure” or “no problem”

Even more annoying is when I take the time to help someone and all they write back is “tx”. Seriously? Can’t you be bothered to elaborate a bit for someone who just took the time to help you with something?

As a millennial I remember this was slang we typed in AOL instant messenger. I haven't used it since I was a teen because it feels very much of it era... Maybe some still do?

I think they’re trying to be cool/current, not rude. That’s how I take it anyway.

24 😊

I would never write kk to a parent or anyone older than me. Neither would I write k

But amongst my friends it’s quite the norm to write kk. And k would be rude

Hmm. Isn’t kk used by only by middle aged people who just got their first smartphone and are trying to be cool?

Uch, I don’t know how to say it without sending chutzpadig.

I've had a staff member of mine text me KK and I thought it was, if not rude, a bit too chilled...

KK is DS's classic answer to basically every text I send him. DH and I think it's hilarious
He's 15
If an adult wrote that to me I'd be pretty unimpressed

My phone is always changing ok to kk. I always change it back. Sometimes though as it’s sending it changes it back
