And yes, growing up we called #2 eh eh as well. My DD has named it ewwy, tho, so in our immediate family that's what it's called now. She's also named cucumbers as kookoocumbers, rectangles are reckintangles, and PJs are pajeedays. I feel like little kids might be the biggest innovators of unique family words.

Once when my husband was cutting up a mango , one of my kids asked what it is. They were going thru the marvelous middos stage at the time so he said it's wookie jookie plant. And so mango officially became "wookie jookie".

We call dishcloths “peefs”, because Israeli DH once picked one up, sniffed it, and said “peef” in disgust. DD1, who was a toddler at the time, thought that was what it’s called 😆

"Yankel" as an adjective - I dunno how this came to be but its possible a brother of mine knew a yankel like this. Basically used to describe any geeky, chanyuky type of guy, he's such a "yankel"
Orech (in hebrew it literally means a guest) but we use it to describe somebody overstaying their stay or not knowing their proper place, "He's such a oirech"
