And yes, growing up we called #2 eh eh as well. My DD has named it ewwy, tho, so in our immediate family that's what it's called now. She's also named cucumbers as kookoocumbers, rectangles are reckintangles, and PJs are pajeedays. I feel like little kids might be the biggest innovators of unique family words.

We call dishcloths “peefs”, because Israeli DH once picked one up, sniffed it, and said “peef” in disgust. DD1, who was a toddler at the time, thought that was what it’s called 😆
