I saw in a magazine this week that the newest sheitels are ribbon front and silk front. What are these? better than lace?

Also wondering. I wear a silk top sheitel and I thought it was okay because it’s “older”.

There is a movement to assur all the new styles and get people to stick with traditional caps only
I think silk top is more natural than lace because you can’t see the knots.
I don’t even know what a ribbon front is? When I google lace fronts with a bit of ribbon come up.

Ribbon front is the same as closed lace. The lace is folded under itself to make it look less like it's growing out of the scalp.
