HI

Is there a way to sign checks remotely if my bookkeeper is working on QuickBooks from her home.
I am assuming this won't work with quickbooks desktop and only online. Can anyone with experience let me know what the best way to work this out would be. Just fyi we are currently using quickbooks desktop.

How do you print your checks? On company check paper? Or via check software (versacheck, print boss etc)

printing to Adobe pdf, and adding the signature doesn't wotk? Thats what we do.

We print using Company checks. I'm just thinking if she prints to adobe pdf then sends it to me for signature she can still print it out on company check.. should work

I'm working for 10+ years with qb's desktop. The few times I tried qb's online it was very complicated. My accountant also recommends desktop vs online.

Amazing how the US is so far behind other countries who have stopped using checks a decade ago.

Wires are additionally $25-30 depending on your bank.

We do have zelle quickpay that comes with a $5-7k limit.

And then there are the laborers that prefer checks vs direct deposits.

I find that sending checks electronically, via email, makes things a little easier. We still have customers that mail their payments boy does it take forever to arrive.

Zelle /Quickpay wouldn't be acceptable by most businesses. Everything here is done with internet transfer - from one bank account to another. For day workers / laborers or people without bank accounts you can pay to any cell number and that person can withdraw the cash from any ATM.

You can add the signature to QB and have the check print with the signature. I've done with QB desktop in the past
