My DH has been diagnosed with high cholesterol.
I am trying to figure out a diet plan/meal plans to lower it.
Any advice? Meal ideas?
TIA!

Cut down on red meats, eggs, cheese. Focus on chicken, turkey, veggies.

This is old information.
Cut down on crud food. Cut out:
Diet free food. Sugar free foods. Diet sodas. And all that made up stuff that is just garbage.

Maybe try a whole30 diet approach to see if they helps his body.
Eggs and meat are fine!

Cut down sugar and sugar substitutes.

And PROCESSED meats like deli meat and hot dogs.

Cut out CHEAP oils like vegetable, soy, canola

and Replace with Healthier Oils like Coconut Oil, Avodado Oil and/or Olive Oil.

Eat much more Vegetables - soups, salads, roasted, sliced with a dip.

Imo meat and eggs doesn't matter as much as increasing vegetables and fruit and cutting down on processed foods. Decrease dairy. Make sure to get enough exercise.
