He wants her to sign the forms to take out a second mortgage and she should pay for it using her paycheck from her new job. She doesn’t want to and he is trying to make her feel guilty that she isn’t supportive.
She may be able to go away for 2 days for a business job- she’ll find if it will work out.

Obviously he is totally oblivious to his families needs. He is so focused on “saving his family” that he forgot that his wife and kids come first.

To me it makes no sense that Dina is so rotten to the core. Where is her Jewish nature? Every bas Yisroel has at least some good midos but not Dina.
I’m wondering if Dina went through some kind of secret trauma before Esty married Eli and that is why everyone is giving in to her.
