what are some nice things to do in Norwalk, CT? Going with some teens and younger kids. How is the aquarium there?

Aquarium is great. There are also some cool mansion tours in the area (I assume they have reopened since COVID)

There's a boat ride that leaves from the same parking lot as the aquarium, but it's not affiliated. It goes to an island with a lighthouse and they give a tour of the lighthouse and time to explore the island before heading back. There are picnic benches and bathrooms and a little beach and nice views. We combined the boat trip with the aquarium and it was a very nice day. I wouldn't do it in the winter though.

We did the aquarium (boat ride closed in winter) and then the noho mall down the block. Gorgeous mall, the camp store was really cute
