Going to be traveling to Israel imy"h for about a week and a half. Which neighborhood is the best place to rent an apartment in? Geula neighborhood? Rechavia? The Old City?
Thanks!

Depends what you want to see and do, and your hashkafa.

I'd love places like Yemin Moshe, Baka, German Colony, Rehavia.

The Old City is beautiful, but now always so convenient for getting around (although it is of course close to the Kotel and sights within the Old City).

Best for what?
If I had to stay in Geula I would have a miserable vacation.
The Old City is annoying to get in and out of, so unless you plan to just daven at the kotel 3x a day, I wouldn't stay there.
What is your budget? What are you planning to do every day?
Rechavia is very centrally located and you can get everywhere from King George St.

We love being in the heart of geula and within the shabbos barrier- lots of badatz eateries and it’s where we feel most comfortable and like we are living in Jerusalem of old. rechavia is quiet and more residential, not within the shabbos barrier, mixed neighborhood in terms of hashkafos. Strauss/Yafo/haneviim easy walk to kotel, more of a tourist/chiloni neighborhood but easy walk to geula as well. Central in terms of eateries and shopping, most eateries will not be badatz. There are so many other neighborhoods each with their own flavor- really Depends what you are looking for.

I stayed in the Leonardo Plaza recently- I think it’s Rechavia. 15-20 minute walk to both the Old City and Geula/Meah Shearim. Very close to the light rail and many buses as well.
