My baby loves yogurt but we’re trying to go dairy free. He did not like the one I bought him at all. Kept making faces and refuses to eat it. Are there any brands that make it taste close enough to dairy?

Why are you going dairy free? Soy isn’t good for babies, especially boy babies. There are yogurts that are lactose free (not CY, waiting eagerly for lactose free CY yogurt and kosher lactose free cheese!

Most are not soy. So Delicious is coconut milk, mehadrin is coconut milk, Silk is almond milk. I like the So Delicious one best.

Try forager.

Give your baby some time to get used to the switch.

Something to keep in mind is that coconut yogurt has almost no proteins so if you want to give it to your child for breakfast or lunch then it’s not really nutritionally sound. You would be much better off with soy or almond milk yogurt. I happen to enjoy the vanilla yogurt from silk. Baby loves it too although he doesn’t know better as he’s allergic to milk.

For some people non homogenized dairy does not have a bad effect on them when regular dairy does.
Bethel makes yogurt and leben in different flavors. (The yogurt is a heavy Greek, the leben is lighter like regular yogurt. They also have milk and chocolate milk.)

Very normal for them to constantly have a runny nose in the winter. My toddler is allergic to dairy and his nose is always running as well.
