I think meir flows nicely after eliyahu

Its a lot of syllables even without a 3rd name, so you probably want a name with 1 or 2 syllables only...
Like meir, tzvi, dov, simcha, zev, yosef, chaim

That's a family name for me. I've never heard the combination outside my family. Curious why you want to add to it? Both names have several nickname options - Shmuel, Shmueli, Sam, Eli, Elya, Eliyahu?
I suppose Shmuel Dovid Eliyahu could be nice. But it's kind of a long name.

Shmuel Eliyahu Tzvi
If you’re adding because the person died young, Zvi is a name sometimes given for that like Alter or Chaim. A Tzvi runs fast, symbolizes good health. Sounds nice too.

My fil passed away young and we were advised to change one of the names rather than add on. For ex Yaakov to Akiva (same letters) or Yisroel (because Yaakov avinu changed to Yisroel)

I love this, and also because it's one syllable.

I like the name Shai too for that reason, and b/c it means gift, as a child always is.

Shmuel Eliyahu Chai.

I like Chai - it's shorter than Chaim, for an already long name, and it's more original.

Dh's RY was R' Feivelson zt"l. His name was Avigdor Shmuel Eliyahu. Dh name is Shmuel so couldn't name for him but to me it has a nice flow

Actually maybe it was Shmuel Eliyahu Avigdor. Not 100% sure which way
