looking for an eye doctor for a general exam. should I just go to one of the eye glasses stores? I want a full exam
please advise.

Dr Bachrach in Optical Eyeland by Evergreen is really good. She used to work at Dr. Borkowski.

She’s amazing, I personally use her because she’s the only one who could figure out my high astigmatism prescriptions, but she doesn’t take insurance. It’s out of pocket.
Dr. Leventer is great, but it’s hard to get an appt for when he’s seeing in the Lakewood office. And good luck if you need a lens trial because it will take FOREVER to get them in and you’ll have to constantly call and leave lots messages to get ahold of them.
For drs who take insurance and have appointment availability, people use Invision eye care or Dr Pardon.

He’s excellent but a new patient literally won’t be able to get an appt until 2024. I’m not exaggerating. My friend had to book her appt for April 2023 in May 2022!
