I picked out beautiful canvas wall art on Amazon. I wanted the unframed look and they are also light so easy to hang without special equipment.
I've also bought framed paintings at Ambiance and Accentuations.

Years ago it we got one at a "Starving Artist Art Show" or something like that. It was a traveling popup thing at hotels. I don't know if they still have those. It's not anything famous but it's affordable.

I buy beautiful Jewish art in Etsy. One artist I really love so much, I commissioned an original from her. Non Jewish art is in there too if that's your thing.
If you're looking for generic pieces, Amazon and HomeGoods work. But I highly recommend Etsy for everything but that.

I like Lina Hazan's watercolors. Especially because she has a sefardi rabbanim set. And one of her oil paintings spoke to me... I had to have it where I light candles.
I do the prints as they're a million times more affordable and they look like the real thing.
