I generally do not buy spring clothes,
It’s only worn for a short time, and I can’t afford to buy 3 wardrobes…
My question is what do you do when it’s in between weather? When the winter clothes dont fit anymore, or it’s too warm, but it’s too cold for summer clothes..?

Curious what other do..

We have in between- thin cotton long sleeve that they wear with sweaters in the winter, or summer things with a shell

I only buy a spring wardrobe for my babies/toddlers. Thin long sleeve tee's. They wear it spring and fall.

Usually when I say spring I mean spring/summer.

My girls are wearing 3/4 tees and knee socks either way. My lower elementary son is wearing short sleeves and long pants, so he can throw on a jacket if it’s chilly.

To me personally, the only time it makes a difference is for my little boy who wears shorts in the summer. I do make sure to have some long shabbos/weekday pants for him for that in-between weather.

No, you can layer with a jacket or Hoodie on a cool day. Generally I don't buy super heavy winter clothes.

For myself, I'd say anyone not dressing tznius would consider my summer clothes spring/ fall clothes.

I never buy myself clothes for a new season. It's not like I'm still growing and need a new wardrobe constantly. Kids also get only winter and summer. Maybe a light jacket or sweater if needed, but that's it.

When I buy winter and summer, I buy a few items that are cooler/warmer/longer sleeve, basically good for in between weather. It's mixed in with the rest of the clothes. Not everything can be short sleeve or thick knits.

My kids usually have one or two long sleeve summer outfits and some thinner winter outfits- I use those for spring. Summer Shabbos outfits can be worn with a cardigan on top during the spring (my kids each have one cardigan for the past few seasons already (they wear it open, so it doesn't have to fit perfectly)
