Go to the doctor asap
Usually shouldn’t let them fall asleep after a fall

Call your doctor now. Monitor him while he's sleeping.

I’d wake him after 20 min. See if you can get his eyes to focus. If he does, let him go back to sleep. If not, go to ped.

I went to ED after both bed falls. Better safe than sorry.

I'd go to pediatrician first, hospitals can cause issues with CPS.

Relax. Today you don't keep child up after a fall. Do call doc tho.

Much bigger issue if the fall caused a brain bleed or a skull fracture and you bring the baby in a week later. I promise you this is a much bigger issue

Yeah, my firstborn suffered several falls/bumps as a baby. They always made her sleepy and I let her nap. She was good.

Pediatrician now. This isn’t uncommon and in most cases is fine but you need to check for the rare time it’s not ok.

The not letting them fall asleep is outdated info. Fine to let him sleep but definitely call doctor now.
Odds are that he's totally fine, babies are sturdier than we think but you definitely should have him checked out

Which is why you should go to the pediatrician. They can tell you if they're concerned and what to look out for.

My niece went to the hospital after her infant fell and CPS took her kids away for a few months till they completed the investigation.

Go to your pediatrician today.

Not to belabor the point but sounds like there’s more to the story than you might know. I’m a hospital social worker. We do have to report all UNWITNESSED skull fractures but these almost never result in child being remanded.

In any case OP got lots of good advice here

I would ignore current advice & wake him up. If he's up & ok with no major swelling on the head I'd be alot calmer.
