My son wasn't feeling well and when they tested his urine the doctor said that there was blood in the urine. Any doctors or nurses here that would know if it needs to be rechecked? This doctor really wasn't very competent so I am not sure if I need to go back to recheck.
My question is if it's ok to just leave it- is it most times something harmless or is it something that needs checking.
TIA

my son once had that years ago. It was strep in the blood, which I think inflames the kidneys. I was sent to a kidney specialist. All was ok in the end, but I think something happened with his blood pressure that the doctor gave medication for. It was many years ago, I dont remember exactly, but definitely follow up on it.
