Hi,
My son was bit by a classmate today. I spoke to the principal and she said that they are taking care of it but it is very normal to have biting once or twice a year. This is surprising to me. I’m wondering if any teachers or more experienced mommies know if this is within the normal range.
In general, his class has a lot of using hands and body. BH the bite did not Pierce The skin but he does have a black and blue mark and a bite mark and was quite shaken from the whole experience

How old is your child?

It's very normal in 2 year olds, less acceptable in 3 year olds but can still be age appropriate in a young 3, not age appropriate in 4 and 5 year olds

Totally age appropriate in the 2-3 year old category.
My issue was when a school tried to justify a second grader that bit my child.
I probably wouldn’t make a big deal until first grade as long as my child told me that the kid that bit got a consequence
