I’m looking to buy an accordion door to install in my dinette opening to the kitchen in order to have an option to close it to make a little room for guests. I wonder if anyone installed something like that.

My friend did folding doors between 2 of her rooms. She almost never closes them and they do seem flimsy. She used narrow doors and attached them together with hinges. But you can get accordion doors. We looked into them for our ensuite and decided against them because they seemed very flimsy and they don't actually block much, so it doesn't feel very private.
What I want to do one day when we renovate is to do a door that slides into the wall.
