Don’t ask how, but ammonia spilled in my laundry room and I can’t seem to get the smell out of the cabinet. Any tips or tricks to get rid of the smell? Is it dangerous?

First, clean up the spill with paper towels. Rinse with plenty of plain water. If any residual odor remains after all surfaces are dry, wipe with a cloth soaked in a solution of baking soda.

If you do nothing after cleaning up the spill, the odor should dissipate within a week. .
