I just checked it out on you tube . The entire thing is so creepy. How could they have not been suspicious from day one?

Which people put these children in this guys hands ? Was it the parents themselves? Are they even Jewish ?

How could he have been in hospice care and still have an entire family to care for? Beyond strange.
And go read that CPS came at least 8 times to that home and allowed this to continue .

I always wonder about this. There are so many horrendous stories from adopted children.

It makes me wonder- is there even a system that vets and rates these adoptive parents?

Or is it as long as you have two feet you can have as many children as you want?

This whole situation is so so strange. On Instagram he's presented as a terminally ill man that's on hospice and has nurses in the house.

Those poor children.
The oldest recently joined the army.

All I could say is poor poor children , whether they are Jewish or not. Foster children needed a safe , loving and happy home. This is why they are put into foster care to begin with.

It's TX. This is not a state known for huge gov't oversight or involvement. Also, their funding for social services including foster care is probably nil and it was a relief to get older boys placed. Also, his charade probably made sure to portray he's safe and religious ....and ultra orthodox so don't be biased against him or the ACLU and The Agudah will come after them for civil rights offenses.

As many of you (whoever's on whatsapp) know , I am unhealthily obsessed with this story, since Ive been following them on social media from day 1. It smelled fishy from the start. I kept saying that this is a pedo den. No one in the world knew this man, I asked around all over the place. It wasnt possible that he was Jewish -- NO ONE knows him. In Houston he was a pariah and none of the shuls had anything to do with him. THe red flags are massive. The kids are such amazing, resilient kids, I am in awe of the one that blew the whistle. I hope they get to heal and that "hayim nissimm' aka Jeffrey Vejil ROTS FOREVER. P.S. I'm sure there will be a movie or series made about this story as it's so bizarre it feels like fiction.

He isnt disabled. He started faking his illness in order to cover up his crimes.
