Hi all. My daughter is going to camp one half and I'd like her to attend a daycamp program for the other. Are there any summer camps that take daycampers? I know there are boys camps that do but I'm not familiar with any girl's camps that do. Thanks in advance!
Or if not a daycamp that still has that age group?

not sure where you are in the Catskills, but I think Camp Morris has bunk for girls coming out of 7th grade.

When looking to send to an off ground daycamp, make sure to find out how the on ground girls treat the off ground girls. In some daycamps, the off ground girls are bullied and mocked and made to feel left out.

Grove ran a great "teen" (7-8th grade) program last summer but only one half and the person who ran it is working at Tribeca this year. So I'd inquire for details about both before signing up. Twin bridges I think usually has 7th graders, might be combined with 6th depending on the year.

Best if she goes someplace with other girls she knows.

Do you know what "type" it attracts? I know I know we hate the "typifying" situation but got to know for our kids...

Twin bridge day camp

It's a fun camp. They do lots of trips, shows etc. My 8th grader will be there for August, iyh. I think camp Morris is much more yeshivish, not sure what crowd you're going for. Twin bridge is quite the mix.
